European Mainland Whisky of the Year 2009 (awarded by Jim Murray) Unfortunately, the award-winning Old Buck is not available for sale at the moment but at least two restaurants in the City of Pori sell drams: Beer Hunter's Pub Brewery & Steak and Whisky House Galle. And Galle, by the way, has received a nomination for being one of the best Whisky Restaurants in the world (awarded by the Whisky Magazine). Only three in Finland have received such an honour (others being Pikkulintu in Helsinki and St. Michael in Oulu). Congratulations, Galle & Old Buck!!! Hannu "The Legless Scotsman" Hakonen |
